How To Reset Sony Sound Bar?

Sony HT-A7000/A9 Soundbar

Try these tips for when you wan’t or need to reset your Sony HT-A7000 or A9 Soundbar:

  1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
  2. Select Setup – Advanced Settings.
  3. Select Resetting.
  4. Select the menu item you want to reset.
  5. Select Start.

If you’re unable to to this with the Home Menu, try this:

  • HT-A9: Press and hold the (power) button on the control box for more than 10 seconds.
  • HT-A7000: Press and hold the （power) button and – (volume down) button on the bar speaker for more than 5 seconds.

Sony HT-S100F/SF150 Soundbar

Give this a go for reseting your Sony HT-S100F or SF150 Soundbar:

  1. Press and hold + (volume up) button, (power) button, and (input select) button on the unit for more than 5 seconds to reset the system.
  2. Disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead), then plug it back in.

Sony HT-S200F/SF200/SF201/S350/SD35/X8500/X9000F/XF9000/Z9F/ZF9 Soundbar
